The Ruta del Bosque Residential Project is made up of 5 standard dwellings with slight variations between them, a volume of Amenities and a volume of services (guardhouse), these are distributed in 3 areas clearly defined in the project. The land on which it is located has a rhomboidal shape and is wooded by about 75 pines. It also has a steep slope and a view of the Valle de Bravo Lake. In the highest area of the land the houses were located with the intention of having the best views of the low area of the land where pine trees and abundant vegetation predominate. These units are coupled to the natural slope of the land and achieve integration into the wooded context. The volume of services is located at the access to the property, facing south, is made up of the surveillance and access control area, the warehouse area and on a second level the caretakers house. It is worth mentioning that it is the highest part of the land and also houses an open area that can function as a visitor parking or basketball court. The houses are made up of 2 volumes that are mounted on each other, the lower one is made of stone and houses the access patio, the living room - dining room, terrace, guest room with bathroom, toilet, kitchen, utility room and laundry area. The upper floor has a flattened color and contains the Main Bedroom with Terrace and Bathroom, 2 Secondary Bedrooms with bathroom. Additionally, these homes have a trellis that brings shade to a parking for 2 cars. Some of the houses have special spaces such as Jacuzzi, wine cellar, workshop, etc. Due to the characteristics of the land, the parking is on the upper level and at that point there are 2 access possibilities, one through the level of the bedrooms and the other through a staircase that leads to a stone patio that conducts to the main terrace and the living and dining room, at this point the transparency towards the forest is the ruling element of the project emphasizing the pergola of the terrace that goes into the social area and gives the impression of having a large open terrace area. In the northern part of the land we may find the residences’ terraces, areas covered by wooden pergolas and stone floors, independent gardens delimited by a stone aisle that also descends and forms small green terraces. The amenities area is joined to the rest of the complex by an aisle, it is an element finished in natural stone and it is basically divided into three parts. The first is a living area with a bar, a living room and toilet, the second on an intermediate level is the pool with a 16.6-meter swimming channel, as well as a sunbathing area and a Jacuzzi covered with a sculptural pergola. On the ground floor, a staircase leads to the Spa area, where there is a Yoga and meditation room, a Massage Room, and a bathroom. The machine room is located under the swimming channel. The arrangement of volumes and spaces obeys the natural unevenness of the terrain, which together with the vegetation generates multiple visual planes that give a balance between nature and architecture.
