The project is located at Cabo San Lucas, Baja California; unequal place because of its colorful beaches, textures and peaceful atmosphere. The first step was the remodeling of the original hotel with 33 rooms. The experience gained in modifying the architectural details, room decoration and public areas, was used as a base to develop the new units to the north of the hotel. With these characteristics, any kind of architecture would result powerless to complete with the great universal architecture. The judgement that was followed in the design was precisely to leave the landscape untouched. the solution for the project is to have separate units hidden by the beach slopes. The entrance to each unit is through small tunnels, so they can be lined in independently if it is required. The inner atmosphere was solved by means of walls, of balanced proportions, that generate parapets and furniture, and completes the general design.
