Looking for an attraction for the large number of North American tourists which circulate in the border zone so that they would visit Ciudad Juarez, this hotel was built in an extreme and arid climatic zone where , without points of interest in the surrounding area, important interior elements were created such as patios gardens, and passage ways leaving the perimeter of the land for driveways and parking. There are three principal elements - whose solution permits absolute elasticity in managing the hotel: a block of public services with lobby, restaurants, and services, 100 rooms distributed in two buildings with two floors each, and finally a tower of 5 floors and 40 rooms. The attractive feeling which is achieved by using characteristic elements of the Mexican environment doesnt go to the extreme of vulgar and old-fashioned folklore. The arch, for example, is repeated in various dimensions throughout the hotel combined with large closed walls and with concrete elements designed specially for solar protection.
