The “Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios, ESEN” Superior School of Business and Economics, is considered to be El Salvadors top economics school, and is striving to establish itself as the leading quarry for future leaders in the region. The new campus is located on a 773,428 sq.ft. site on a hillside in the “La Libertad” quarter in San Salvador, with 76,632 sq.ft. construction deployed in such a manner that a minimum impact on the natural environment was involved. The building uses both natural and artificial ventilation systems through the use of patios, courtyards, and open porticoes with artificial ventilation in a few specific areas. The schools main activities are distributed throughout the building in an administrative module, services module and academic module, leaving for a second stage the school’s library.
