American Insurance office building is located at the south of the city in Avenida Revolución 1508, within a very significant area of Mexicos cultural and architectural tradition. The project was developed in a flat plot of 7,040 M2. with a total built area of 27,820 m2 distributed in three basements with a capacity for 276 vehicles and three office buildings, two of them in five levels and one in four levels. At the corner of Avenida Revolución and Río San Angel, was located a plaza and the three office buildings were placed as a pinnacle. The main elements for this project are the computer center, the training center, medical services, restaurant, and areas for general and executive offices, all of them with air-conditioned and the essential facilities. The structure is made of reinforced concrete with a finishing of martellined travertine marble aggregate which gives a sculptural aspect of great impact to the elevations which were treated with solar bronze glass in windows for solar protection. There are also vertical trellis in the elevations. The finishing used in the elevation, besides requiring a minimum of maintenance, due to its structure and color, gives a very interesting tonality and vibration. The modernism and the architectural characteristics, as well as the idea of its spaces have contributed to give an extraordinary splendor to its urban of the area.
