In Mexico City the problem of housing increased in the nineties. This is true not only for the low-income product but also within the higher spheres of the market. Due to the increase in the cost of land, young people who used to live in large houses with their family, had to look for other alternatives for themselves. Although the houses were arranged next to each other in smaller lots, in Los Patios we developed a concept that did not appear less interesting than the larger houses of the old times. Special care was taken in designing all the details of the house, studying the views of each room and bringing natural light through the use of the color without losing privacy. The philosophy was to spend the money in the quality of the spaces and not in expensive materials. The houses have high ceilings that create a sense of ample room. Each house has its own private patio, where were raised walls in order to achieve total privacy. The design of each patio was carefully studied so that it becomes a special environment for the house, with some green areas, a fountain and a paved area where you can have lunch.
