This group of houses is located in Valle de Bravo, village where the major attraction is the lake and where people enjoy having a relaxed week-end far from Mexico. The Complex has a deep slope with abundant vegetation and beautiful views towards the lake. The Complex has 8 houses, sharing a swimming pool and recreational areas, all related to each other in order to take advantage of a familiar life style. The volumes and colors of the houses, as well as the vegetation and materials used in the project create a warm atmosphere. AII the houses are built on the lower part of the site, framed by an abundant vegetation and finishing off to the bottom of the land with the panoramic view of the lake and of the village of Valle de Bravo. The concept of the houses and of the Complex in general was to take advantage of the views toward the lake and the mountains. Each house has a wide area of family and dining room linked to a great terrace in the exterior where there is a barbecue area; a large window divides these areas permitting a natural relationship between the interior and the exterior. Depending on their location on the site, the houses have small adjustments in their layouts to be able to enjoy great views toward the lake. The use of enclosure, wood in floors, tile of mud, smoothed rustic and warm colors allow us to have a good relationship with the context emphasizing a narrow relationship between interior and exterior
