Terra Esperanza is a retail, office and residential mixed-use building, located on a rectangular plot with an area of 17,000 sq ft. The architectural design seeks to reintegrate the human scale by retracting the construction from the shoulder limits, providing the project with an access plaza covered by the construction of the upper levels and providing pedestrian access only through an entry portico that works as the structural support of the building. The building has 3 levels of underground parking which is accessed on one side of the property. The lower block or building base includes the first 3 levels -shops on the ground floor and office space for rent in levels 2 and 3-. The upper block comprises apartment levels -4 to 9 - and amenities are on levels 10 and 11. The design of the volume and the combination of materials in facades, volcanic stone base and brick in the upper volume, give the building a sense of two overlapping bodies, generating terraces and garden areas on the ground floor and levels 4 and 11 that provide users with spaces for recreation and contemplation. Additionally, the project seeks to achieve LEED Gold certification in Category Core & Shell, through the implementation of various technologies and design elements.
