The project is inspired by the conservation of Ex Hacienda “Carretas” and integration of archery. Each room was designed to provide a combination of walkways, squares and terraces, taking full advantage of the extraordinary views to the aqueduct in order to create the project Barrio Santiago, an architectural landmark and icon of Querétaro and the Bajío, attractive and highly competitive located in a central and high-status area. The property includes shops, restaurants, fitness center and cinemas, located on ground floor and basements; while a Boutique Hotel with Branded Residences and homes are located on the top floor seeking to create an open landscape, taking advantage of the Queretaro’s great weather of and where the visitor, guest or resident, can spend a pleasant time, eat at a fine restaurant, purchase items or simply enjoy a wonderful day. It plans to have recurrent events, cultural activities and regular bazaars for the specific purpose of making the project Barrio Santiago to become a destination, in a place where things happen. The Festival Market Place format has been chosen, which stands out for being located in a historic place, that in this case is the Aqueduct of the XVIII Century, fully representative of the state of Querétaro. It is also characterized by having a historical element to preserve and integrate the development of the project: the former Ex Hacienda Carretas. The project was created with a Lifestyle trend, given the location of the property in relation to the city and surrounding suburbs, considering that if any road meets the requirements to be considered as the most beautiful in the state, it is Los Arcos, due to its aqueduct, its history, its proximity to the Historic Center, its access by Bernardo Quintana street and its geographical location in relation to the city.
