In the end of the nineties, life in Mexico City has changed, the land prices have increased, which caused as a consequence their reduction in size, and people used to go out more often on the weekends. The idea of this house is to achieve a good quality of life and spaces, without missing the large gardens of spectacular views. The land is surrounded by houses and presents an irregular form, so the solution was given by a series of interior patios. Different walls and beams were elevated to achieve privacy from the neighbors, what generated a series of spaces with a sculpturing personality. Different artists collaborated in different spaces to achieve integration between art and architecture, so that in the fountain entrance, the pavement was designed by Mexican painter Vicente Rojo, the living room was designed with a special wall to set a Rodolfo Morales painting and it was studied to set a sculpture on a platform by Miriam Medrez. The house became a series of spaces with different entrances of light by means as high windows, domes, and lattice windows that convert it in a particular solution. In the façade to the street, a series of walls were searched with different panels that would not call for attention, so that one can discover the house little by little. In the interiors it was searched that each room would have a special personality, as well in the interior as in the architecture. In the lower level, the public areas were located joining the main patio. These areas are tied by a double height space, which is the family room in a form that even though a separation of activities exists, the house maintains a unit.
